UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion Sleep Disorders Center offers support and education groups for people with sleep disorders:
Alert, Well, And Keeping Energetic is a support and educational group for people with sleep apnea, and their families. This is an ongoing every-other-month meeting, with guest speakers to talk on topics relating to sleep apnea, and time for socializing, and support. It is free of charge. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend. Free street parking around the hospital is available. Refreshments will be served.
This month’s speaker will be Rochelle Zak, MD, sleep specialist and neurologist at UCSF Sleep Disorders Center, who will do a presentation on Neurological sleep disorders associated with sleep apnea, or "Things that go bump in the night".

Bring your CPAP equipment with you and have the pressure checked. We can only check the pressure, and are not able to make any adjustments.

Meetings take place the third Thursday of even months from 7:30pm to 9pm at the Hellman Conference Room at UCSF/Mount Zion, 1600 Divisadero Street, San Francisco.
