Art For Recovery Program
Art for Recovery is an award-winning program of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Individuals coping with life-threatening illness are given an opportunity to express their feelings and experiences through art workshops, visits at the bedside, and individual attention. Artistic ability is not necessary to participate.

Breast Cancer Decision Services is a program designed to help patients understand their breast cancer diagnosis and the decisions they face in the course of their treatment. Services include Consultation Planning, Consultation Recording and Decision Aids including booklets and videos.

UCSF Ida & Joseph Friend Cancer Resource Center
The Ida & Joseph Friend Cancer Resource Center is a part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. It provides patients, families, and visitors with access to information about treatment options, emotional support, and community resources. The CRC maintains a library of books and other media and hosts a diverse selection of support groups, exercise classes and workshops. All CRC programs are free.

UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health
UCSF has long recognized the need for focus, compassion and innovation in women’s health care. The National Center of Excellence (CoE) was one of six national centers founded in 1996 to correct historical imbalances in health care while acting as a catalyst for change in women's health. Our CoE has developed a five-pronged approach to improve women's health through a multi-disciplinary and multi-departmental model that recognizes the interdependence of research, clinical care, leadership, education and community. We are committed to developing partnerships within UCSF and with individuals and organizations to foster and support activities geared toward improving the health and well being of women and girls across diverse communities.

The UCSF Pain Management Center at Mount Zion treats patients with complicated and chronic medical, surgical and neurological pain. The center has a team of doctors and therapists with specialties in anesthesia, neurology, medical psychology and physical therapy.

UCSF Women's Health Resource Center
The UCSF Women's Health Resource Center is the patient and community education arm of the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. The WHRC offers classes and workshops on women's health, maintains a lending library with over 2000 books and videos, and assists with referrals to women's health care practitioners.
