The Challenges of Managing Pain Symposium (ChaMPS) is presented by the Mount Zion Campus Committee and UCSF PainCARE - Center for Advanced Research and Education. UCSF PainCARE is supported in part by a grant from The Mayday Fund. For a list of PainCARE supporters, click here.

Educational Grants

These educational activities are supported in part by educational grants from Élan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and the Mount Zion Health Fund. All conflicts of interest have been resolved in accordance with the ACCME’s Standards for Commercial Support.

Educational Exhibit Support

Educational organizations, non-profits, and commercial entities may provide additional support for ChaMPS from time to time through exhibits, which are presented in an area separate from the ChaMPS classroom. These exhibits are intended to contribute to improved patient care by providing ChaMPS participants with additional educational information, including the latest in research findings and updated patient care guidelines. Any support received for these exhibits is managed in full compliance with the ACCME's Standards for Commercial Support and its educational exhibit policies and procedures. Schedule:

Information for Potential Grantors or Other Supporters

The Manager of UCSF PainCARE - Center for Advanced Research and Education is the primary liaison between ChaMPS faculty and representatives from foundations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and other organizations that desire to support the Challenges of Managing Pain Symposium through educational grants or exhibits.
