Mount Zion Health Fund

Mount Zion Health Fund (MZHF), a supporting foundation of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, preserves the traditions of Mount Zion Hospital and oversees the interests of donors -- past, present and future.

MZHF's mission is to advance programs which improve the physical, emotional and spiritual health of vulnerable populations and reflect the Jewish values and traditions of Mount Zion Hospital. Through its historic and special relationships, MZHF collaborates with UCSF at Mount Zion and its affiliates, and the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community, to identify health-related needs and to promote creative and responsive solutions. MZHF also supports community-based nonprofit organizations that are striving to meet pressing health concerns within San Francisco.
