Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women. The American Cancer Society predicts that one out of every eight or nine American women will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. Early detection through physical examination and mammography can improve outcomes. Detecting breast cancer before it has spread to the axillary lymph nodes greatly increases the chance of survival, and about 85% of such women will survive at least five years.
