Selected visitor services are described below:
Parking
Public parking is available in two parking garages near our Mount Zion campus. One is at 2420 Sutter St. and the other at 1635 Divisadero St. Entrances to both garages are on Sutter Street, between Divisadero and Broderick streets.
The UCSF garage at 2420 Sutter St. is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday, and closed on weekends and UCSF holidays. The rate is $6 an hour with a $30 daily maximum. Those with a valid disabled placard receive a daily maximum rate of $12.

The 1635 Divisadero St. garage is open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday and closed on weekends and major holidays. The rate is $2 each 20 minutes with a $28 daily maximum.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion, 1600 Divisadero St. Auto drop-off is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. Valet service vehicle retrieval is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All vehicles left after hours must be retrieved at the 2420 Sutter St. garage by 10 p.m. There is no extra charge for the valet service, but patrons are responsible for paying the appropriate parking fee when they retrieve their vehicle. Campus Shuttles
The UCSF Medical Center operates shuttle services between Mount Zion and the UCSF Parnassus campus, San Francisco General Hospital, The Veterans Administration Medical Center and various other locations.

Ruth Ann Rosenberg Gift Shop
Friend to Friend Specialty Shop
The UCSF Auxiliary sponsors the volunteer-staffed Ruth Ann Rosenberg Gift Shop and the Friend to Friend Specialty Shop of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. The two are located in the same space in the lobby of 1600 Divisadero Street. The Gift Shop carries a selection of gifts, cards, snacks, and magazines. Friend to Friend carries prostheses, wigs, books on tape, flowers, jewelry and sun-protective clothing.

Lodging
Patients and their families traveling to UCSF Medical Center may contact us for information regarding short-term and longer-term lodging. Although we don't have on-site housing, we maintain listings of hotel and motel accommodations. For information regarding hotels, motels and short-term apartment rentals, please visit our campus Housing Office Web site. For families of seriously ill young patients (age 18 and younger) who live more than 50 miles from the medical center, rooms may be available at the Ronald McDonald House, 1640 Scott Street. There is a minimal per day room fee. For more information, please call Care Coordination at (415) 353-2655.
Retail Food Service
LunchStop Café
The recently remodeled LunchStop Café is located in the basement of 1600 Divisadero Street; there is easy access from the main lobby. The Café has a salad bar, a grill, hot lunches, sandwiches made to order, sushi, and more. The Café also has a Peet’s Coffee cart.

Neighborhood eateries within a few blocks
There are a number of cafe and restaurant options in the Mount Zion neighborhood. A partial listing of neighborhood restaurants is available here.
Mount Zion is also close to Japantown and Fillmore Street, both of which offer numerous places to eat.
